Excellent Volume Mascara

Place a clean tissue underneath the lower lashes.

With the client looking down and keeping eyes open, stroke down the length of the lashes from the base to the tips.

Draw the brush upwards, slowly and firmly, through the lashes keeping as close as possible to the root without touching the eyelid. If extra thickness is required, wait a few minutes and then apply a second coat.

Apply mascara to the lower lashes by stroking the wand both ways across the lashes, then straighten them downwards.

How can I acheive the illusion of maximum eyelash length?

• When applying mascara, wiggle the wand at the base of the lashes. It's the mascara placed near the roots (not the tips) that gives the illusion of length.
