Derived from nature, commonly found as sand or quartz. This high-tech silica coated powder provides a unique “soft focus” effect; wrinkle-blurring and smoothing and sebum absorbing properties with an excellent silky, powder finish.
Derived from the North American Larch Tree; polysaccharides orgalactoarabinan, are molecules of neutrally charged sugars which are moisture binding and mimic the skin’s intercellular cementing. They form an elegant veil on the surface of the skin – smoothing fine lines with an immediate action.
Essential fatty acids are part of the lipid layer and these ingredients help prevent skin dryness, restore optimal moisture balance and help maintain the skin’s vital barrier function. These actions help to prevent skin “stress” and inflammation. From the seed of the Blackcurrant shrub; blackcurrant seed oil is particularly high in the rare gamma linolenic essential fatty acid; otherwise known as Omega 3 and 6.
Sodium Hyaluronate works to capture water molecules on the surface of the skin, plumping and smoothing the skin from within. It helps prevent Trans Epidermal Water Loss to improve the skin’s natural barrier function.
Betaines are cell communicating ingredients which are naturally derived from sugar beets. They act as osmolytes, compounds which affect osmosis; the means by which water is transported in and out of skin cells. Betaines attract water to the cells to help maintain a healthy water balance. They stimulate the skin’s natural hydration process for a long term improvement in the condition of the skin.
Our Multi-vitamin Complex contains the vitamins A, C and E. Vitamin A helps to improve skin elasticity and moisture content, it converts into retinol and is renowned to stimulate collagen formation, helping to improve the appearance of sun damaged skin. Vitamin E helps to improve the use of oxygen in the tissues and increase capillary action, it calms inflammation. It is an excellent antioxidant.
