We now have the ingredients and technology to make a difference to the things we worry about – like uneven skin tone, wrinkles and lack of firmness. It is, of course, impossible for a cream to stop the clock. Its more likely you’ll look well-rested, lines will be less noticeable, and at the very least skin will be properly moisturised. If you can afford only one thing, serums are the best for the maximum anti-ageing hit. Drier skins will require a layering cream on top.
